Coaches and athletes are continuously looking for better methods of enhancing power development in training regimens. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the timing of plyometric inclusion (either before or after strength training) on select power parameters of the lower body of college sprinters and jumpers. This experimental study utilized a pre/posttest design with a 30-day implementation of plyometric training. Variables included countermovement jump height, 30-m sprint time, and power output. Countermovement jump height, 30-m sprint time, and power output all demonstrated no significant differences between pretest and posttest. Posttest findings indicated all variables were significantly correlated. Power output was found the best predictor of 30-m sprint time
