This research explores campus climate specifically the research attempted to answer the following questions: |

What are students' perceptions of the campus climate in regard to diversity as determined by subcategories of active multicultural support, academic ability, collegial relationships, multicultural inclusion, structural diversity, and civic responsibility? The survey further explores whether students have witnessed or experienced discrimination and if so, regarding what attributes |

A sample was obtained through an electronic survey that was sent to approximately 3,200 students. Two hundred and twelve responses were received, with variable response rates by question. The instrument used was an adaptation of a campus climate survey developed for and used by Cypress College (Sheldon, 2001) |
|
Findings showed a majority of responses indicating diverse practices overall for survey questions regarding active multicultural support, academic ability, collegial relationships, structural diversity, and multicultural inclusion |
