Title Thirty dollars reward. [electronic resource] : Stolen out of the store of the subscriber, in Dudley, at sundry times, by one Ezra Holbrook, a large quantity of merchandize ... Whoever will take up the said Holbrook, and secure him, so that he may be brought to justice, shall have the above reward, paid by William Cargill
Imprint [Worcester, Mass.? : Printed by Isaiah Thomas?, 1787?]
Descript 1 sheet ([1] p.)
Series Early American imprints. First series ; no. 44655
Note Dated: Dudley, December 30, 1787. The final seven has been added in ms., apparently to correct a typographical error; the printed numeral is illegible. Bristol supplies 1783 but dates the broadside [1787?] based on the ms. correction. The Huntington Library, which holds the only known original, supplies 1785 and dates the broadside [1785?], perhaps based on another advertisement, dated December 20, 1785, placed by Cargill in Thomas' Massachusetts spy, offering a fifty dollars reward for stolen goods
