This non-experimental exploratory study uses descriptive statistics and the Chi Square test to determine if peaks in negative behaviors at Milford High School can be associated with certain school events, academic events, or holidays. Using ex post facto data for four school years, research was conducted to analyze the number and type of disciplinary action referrals. Specific school event days, academic event days, and holidays within the school calendar were used to determine if these event days produced more discipline referrals. Based on the findings of this study, the data does not show an increase in discipline referrals for event days. Recommendations are given to further analyze the data by gender, grade, ethnicity, and income
